Golf Links colony

Founded in 1952, Golf Links is Delhi’s premier residential colony – a verdant oasis in the heart of the Capital. Green and peaceful, residents of the 212 houses can walk along quiet roads lined with avenue trees that were planted over 60 years ago. The colony is built on land that was once a part of the Delhi Golf Club, and the relaxed ambience has continued even as the city outside grows.

On holidays and in the early evening, youngsters cycle on the roads; older residents take an evening walk; and pet owners exercise their dogs. Morning walkers are entertained by a bird chorus.

Golf Links falls within the Lutyens Bungalow Zone so building heights and construction are closely monitored by the New Delhi Municipal Corporation.

With 16 parks, the colony has been designed to ensure that each house has a park view; residents need only to step out of their homes and enjoy a walk in the garden opposite. A special park for dogs has been created where dogs can run around freely. There are also two children’s parks with swings, slides, jungle gyms and other equipment designed to promote children’s enjoyment and physical growth.
